I was nominated by my very good friend Erica from Erica’s Bookshelves for the One Lovely Blog Award. Thank you so much for nominating me! I’ve known Erica for quite a while on Bookstagram. I’ve been following her on there pretty much the entire time I’ve been on it. Here is a link to her One Lovely Blog Award post.
Now onto the facts!
- My favorite Disney Princess is Mulan. Based on my blog name and profile pic, you would think my favorite would be Belle, but Mulan is my number 1. Mulan is such a bad ass and growing up she was the only female Asian representation I saw in movies. Belle is actually my third favorite princess (Rapunzel is number 2).
- My current celebrity crushes are Skeet Ulrich and Dove Cameron. This past summer I binge watched Riverdale fell in love with Skeet (aka FP Jones). I also watched Disney Descendants 2 and completely fell in love with Dove.
- My favorite singer is Lana Del Rey. I am obsessed with her. Her music speaks to me in such an intimate way. She’s an absolute genius.
- I like playing solitaire. I could literally play for hours and never get bored. My favorite game to play is Klondike.
- My favorite Beatle is Ringo. Not only does he have the coolest name, he was also the most drama-free.
- I suck at putting on make-up. I have like zero make up skills. Like I have no idea how to apply eyeshadow or cat-eye eyeliner.
- I’ve never traveled outside of the USA. The farthest I’ve been is Hawaii. But I really do want to travel other countries, particularly the Philippines and the UK.
Nominations!
I nominate:
I suck at make up as well 😛 and my favorite disney lead is MOANA 😀

I love Moana a lot too! I loved that her movie had no romance or mention of marriage whatsoever. It was so refreshing!

Ringo really was the most drama-free Beatle, haha! George was my favorite. And Mulan is an awesome Disney heroine–I can’t wait for her live action film. I am partial to Jasmine, though, whom I was named after and was the first brown-skinned Disney Princess 😉

And Jasmine is really amazing too. “I am not a prize to be won!”

Way to throw a curveball with the favourite Disney princess lol! I haven’t watched Mulan in forever, I think it’s time for a rewatch. Confession, I’ve also never seen Tangled..or Riverdale..or Disney Descendants.. are we still friends? hahaha
Oh my god I could listen to Lana Del Ray on a loop, her voice is literally mesmerizing!
Girl, if you lived near me I would totally teach you to do a cat eye! It’s so easy once you get the hang of it(the key for me is to use a gel liner and a brush vs. a liquid liner) I’m shit at applying eyeshadow though, so I can’t help you there!

Lol. Of course we are still friends!
And omg Lana’s voice is just everything. When I was still in college, I would listen to her while studying, while commuting on the light rail, while reading, literally all the time. Haha.
I would love for someone to teach me that. I have heard that using a brush is better. Liquid liner seems messy. And with eyeshadow, I’m shit at it too. I’m clueless when it comes to layering the colors and stuff.
